About the Artist
Inna Craig, a Ukrainian-born artist currently residing in Scotland, UK, is renowned for her evocative oil paintings that seamlessly blend the charm of antiques with contemporary life. Her meticulously curated still life compositions invite viewers to experience a sense of nostalgia and appreciate the timeless beauty of vintage treasures.
Inna's artistic journey began in the lush, green town of Vovchansk, Ukraine. As a child, she was inspired by her grandmother Valentyna, who nurtured her creativity and love for art. Inna's earliest works often featured elegant ladies in extravagant dresses and some monumental art, reflecting the influence of her grandmother's teachings. To this day Inna remains captivated by the art of portraiture, where she skilfully brings her subjects to life, reflecting her enduring fascination with the human form.
At 16, Inna moved to Kyiv to pursue higher education, earning a master's degree in International Financial Management after five years of study. Despite her academic achievements, her passion for art remained strong, and she eventually returned to her true calling. Inna is currently pursuing a BA (Hons) in History of Art and Visual Cultures to deepen her understanding of what defines great art, a knowledge that is being reflected in her work as an artist.
Now living in the picturesque town on the east coast of Scotland amongst ancient castles and beautiful landscapes, Inna continues to create stunning artworks that are cherished by collectors locally and internationally. Her paintings capture the essence of time, inviting viewers to explore the vintage charm of past eras through her unique artistic lens.
